HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! JANUARY 1, 2020

Jeremiah 29: 11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. 12Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

We are entering a new year. Many of us are worried! Last year was tough, and we are afraid that this year might be worse. Some of us have lost jobs, others are facing medical bills, and many of us are concerned about our children and grandchildren. Some of us are having trouble sleeping at night. We lie down, but our minds are racing as we rehearse our litany of problems. And the Lord has a word for you: STOP!!!!

Stop! Worrying about your finances!                                     

Stop! Worrying about your health!

Stop! Worrying about your job!

Stop! Worrying about your children and grandchildren!

GOD KNOWS! GOD SEES! GOD HEARS! AND GOD HAS PLANS!

  1. PLANS TO PROSPER US
  2. PLANS FOR OUR GOOD AND NOT TO HARM US
  3. PLANS TO GIVE US A FUTURE
  4. PLANS TO GIVE US A HOPE

Today God wants you to trust where you cannot see. God wants you to take those burdens you have been carrying and roll them over onto Him. That means that every time you begin to worry, STOP!!!

If you have never memorized any scripture before, memorize Jeremiah 29:11. And as many times as you begin to worry, repeat it to yourself!

PRAYER: Father God, we thank you that you are the Creator of the universe, that you can handle all our problems. Help us to trust that you are giving us a future and a hope. In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
